Responsible for creating secure and high performance system infrastructure. The new network configuration will open the door for Velocity to explore new possibilities in using the network to increase overall productivity by accessing file system securely outside office location.
Key responsibilities:
• Create high performance business Wi-Fi system – provide Wi-Fi connection to full office.
• Provide increased network capacity (All employees can connect Wi-Fi).
• Provide controlled access to guests.
• Setup firewall and virtual private network for securing network and accessing files outside the office.
• Setup Remote desktop connection to access computer from home or anywhere.
• Setup and configure new server which provides secure file storage system.
• Setup new backup system
• Setup and configure phone system for conference room and reception room.
• Setup and configure new desktops.
• Setup FTP system for sharing files with clients and subcontractors.
• Install antivirus system to all computers.
• Resolve any existing issues with current desktops and laptops.
